For me the food is delicious, the staff also very friendly, and I very attracted with the vibe of the cafe cause they bring a "classic atmosphere concept". Ohh don't forgot to try the masak lemak udang nenas too !
Oh dear, our 10 am meeting had been postponed!! Hence, upon finding out that fact while checking out of our hotel room, we had initially decided to go back to KL immediately. While waiting in the car, my wife was scrolling through her tik tok account, and came across a relatively new restaurant in Indera Mahkota. And she vaguely remembered seeing it yesterday. Well, a change of plan was in order, as she had insisted on having our breakfast there!! We arrived at the restaurant 5 minutes before 9:00 am when their operation would actually start. It was just a short wait, but as we walked in at 9:00 am sharp, we found that the staffs were still sorting out the various dishes to be served. Reading from the displayed menu, they actually offer quite a huge variety of foods, but most of them were not readily cooked or served yet. My wife had wanted to have the plain white rice with various lauk dishes. But upon finding out that the plain white rice was not fully cooked yet, she had no choice but to follow my decision to have nasi lemak instead. For me, nasi lemak is my all time comfort food, and after I saw that they have readily offered Sambal Kerang and Paru Goreng Rempah on the display counter, I was all set!!! My wife also requested for the Paru Goreng Rempah, together with Chicken Rendang. As for our drinks, Khai had assured us that he could whip out quite a mean teh tarik, and I was easily sold on that idea. My wife could be quite picky when it came to her choice of teh tarik, being one of her own specialty drinks. But as soon as we tried Khai's own convoction of teh tarik, we were fully satisfied... We later found out that this restaurant is the latest outlet owned by Chef Ashraf, a successful businessman who also operates four other restaurants in Kuantan, and a few other outlets in KL. No wonder he was very detailed on the beautiful interior design and distinctive decor, and had carefully planned the layout to maximize the seating capacity and the flow of patrons within the restaurant. Having had our tummies filled with amazingly delicious nasi lemak and lauk dishes, we were well prepared for our trip back to KL, while wondering when would be our next trip back to this delectable restaurant in Indera Mahkota...
Finally made it to this restaurant I'd been eyeing for a while. They have a huge menu with tons of choices. Had lunch here and got plenty of dishes and variety of masak lemak, and it was quite good. The atmosphere is great with Malay cultural decoration. Very systematic self service and payment. The workers were also very helpful and cleans up the area frequently which helps with the atmosphere of the restaurant. The ambiance is cozy, and the environment is pleasant. Parking is spacious, making it convenient for visitors. All in all, a great restaurant to dine in. Highly recommended!
A brand new eatery serving Nasi Lemak & Salai. Love the concept however can slightly improve on the taste ie gulai lomak salai is missing the hit (less salty and spicy)same goes to the sambal nasi lemak and ayam berempah. But I was told that for those who prefers spiciness can add on with their varieties of sambal. However its a nice & comfortable place to hang with friends and family for lauk kampung. Price wise is on a middle range. Hope they can step up on blasting the palate. Gonna try another round of their nasi lauk kampung pulak.
The nasi campur selection here is great, with a good variety of lemak salai dishes. I love the interior design, a hipster cafe vibe with air-conditioning, yet serving nasi with sambal belacan, which is an excellent idea. The food was very tasty, service was very good, and parking was plenty and convenient. Definitely will come back.
